Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of stoplight.ai and any related services provided by Stoplight (“Stoplight”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts and Workspaces

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Workspaces may include multiple members. Workspace admins control invitations, roles, and billing.

3. Telemetry and Guardrails

Stoplight is designed to observe AI agent activity (for example: tool calls, file operations and commands) and propose guardrail rules and guides. Suggested guardrails are not active by default—activation is a user decision. Stoplight does not guarantee prevention of harmful actions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• violate laws, regulations, or third-party rights;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems;
• interfere with service operation, rate limits, or security controls;
• upload or transmit malware or malicious payloads.

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed according to the plan you select. Team is a flat monthly fee with unlimited users, and Enterprise is custom. Taxes may apply. Payments and invoices are processed via our payment provider.

6. Confidentiality and Security

You should avoid sending secrets or sensitive personal data in telemetry. If your hooks include such data, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights and controls. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other customers.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
